We are a small rurally located school, serving the community of Roxton and its surrounding villages including Wyboston, Chawston and Tempsford, providing education for children aged between 3-9-years old.
Our mission is to provide a caring environment in which children from all faiths and creeds, can learn, feel valued, be safe, happy, and achieve their potential.
Religious Nature of the School
Roxton is a church school and as such we refer to the life of Jesus, the Bible and liturgical matters more often than in a non-church school. We pray at regular times during the school day, encouraging the children to express themselves in prayer as often as possible. Grace is said before lunch. We go to Church once a fortnight for collective worship led by the Vicar, as well as holding services for Harvest, Christmas, Easter and other major events in the life of the school.
